I'm shocked to see this article against the Amber Alert system - what do you think?

What a stupid article. The Amber Alert system has done no harm at all, it's helped find kidnapped kids. What's better than getting the information out there ASAP while the kidnapper is still running, not holed up somewhere hurting or killing his victim? The AA System does not make me more paranoid, it soothes me, I know if my child goes missing that everyone around will know very quickly and will know what they look like. Some people are just ignorant, like the person who wrote that article!!
