Holiday Insurance for elderly and not too robust travellers?

First you should be old enough to know that when a free something is offered such as 20% free on a packet of some sort or free insurance is not free at all. It is included in the price so you are still paying for it. I am not sure how that would work for an elderly person but it is I think important to find out what you are paying for with one of these deals (and you are paying make no mistake about that). It may be better to buy your insurance separate and ask the travel company for a discount as you don't want theirs. We use an Age Concern company called Free Spirit
