Is it just me or are they trying to brainwash us?

one afternoon after a stupid episode of The Simpsons...something to do with Gay rights.....the television was turned off.....My son and I have not watched a television in 10 years now.....we tune into stimulating radio broadcasts via the internet---KFI640.com----and of course some Megadeth Radio on iheartradio.com.....but we don't miss TV at all and our lives are better for it.
