Question for parents with adult children?

Dont send it back but you could always send him a gift card for his birthday or Christmas to return some of the money without making him feel you are rejecting his generosity. Or as a father myself a phone call or letter letting him know how much you appreciate his gift and mentioning how you know you can always count on him would be worth more to him than any amount of money.
